Q: Can I connect any Bluetooth device to a Q? A smartphone? A laptop? A tablet?
A: Yes, Q connects wirelessly to ANY Bluetooth device!

Q: …how about my mint condition 1979 Sony L2 Walkman?
A: Of course - you can connect ANY device to a Q or a 1.5R via the 3.5mm Aux in jack!

Q: Can I plug two 1Q's together?
A: Yes, 1Q is set up to automatically switch from mono to stereo when a second 1Q is plugged in. Check your manual for details.

Q: How long does a charge last and how long to recharge a Q?
A: The life of a charge varies depending on use, but approximately 10 hours with a 1Q and 8 with a 2Q. Recharge time as about 5 hours maximum.

Q: Can I charge my Q with the USB port on my computer?
A: Yes, Q can be charged from a computer, laptop or with any USB charger.

Q: Can I play a Q system while charging?
A: Yes you can.

Q: Can I hook up a Vers sound system to use as a speaker for my computer?
A: Yes! The Vers 1.5R has an 'Aux' mode that allows for switching between your iPod/iPhone, your computer or other external device. Q systems can connect via Bluetooth or the 3.5 mm Aux In jack using the supplied cable.

Q: I'm having trouble getting my Q system to connect via Bluetooth – what should I do?
A: Sometimes Bluetooth devices miss each other in 'discovery' – try powering off your Q and shutting off the Bluetooth function on your device. Turn both back on again and try again – that usually does it.

Q: Will Vers work with my iPhone?
A: Yes, Ves 1.5R is certified to play and charge all 30 pin docking iPhones (original through 4S). iPhone 5 can play through an adaptor cable, available through Apple or the Apple Store.

Q: Will Vers sound systems work with my iPad as well?
A: Absolutely! There are 2 ways to connect an iPad - either through the Audio In jack on the bottom of the 1.5R or back of a Q, or with Q via Bluetooth.

Q: What versions of iPods or iPhone do Vers sound systems work with?
A: Vers 1.5R will charge and play all docking iPods, iPhones and all generations of iPod Touch. Q will work with any Apple device via Bluetooth or the 3.5 mm headphone jack.

Q: Since Vers products are made from 'real wood', do I need to do anything special to take care of it?
A: You need to treat Vers sound system or accessory as you would any other piece of fine wood furniture in your home – keep out of direct sunlight, avoid extremely high or low humidity environments, extreme high or low temperature extremes, wipe down with a dry, clean cloth as needed. Wood is a natural material and will sometimes develop cracks if not taken care of properly.

Q: Oops! I accidentally scratched the wood - what do I do?
A: Most major hardware stores sell crayon-type pencils or wood stain pens for touching up small nicks and scratches - they work great!

Q: Any suggestions on the best way to position my Vers?
A: To get the ideal bass response from the rear ports on any Vers sound system, place it about a hand-width away from any rear wall or diagonally in a corner. Make sure the ports are not blocked by anything.

Q: How do I fine-tune the bass and treble to my liking?
A: The Vers 1.5R comes with dedicated bass and treble adjustment buttons on the remote. For Q, you can adjust the EQ settings in the control panel of most devices.

Q: What is your return policy?
A: If your Vers system was purchased online through the Vers website, you have 30 days to return it for credit; you will be responsible for all return shipping costs. It is important that contact us first for authorization and instructions on the support page on this site - we cannot take responsibility for returned units without prior authorization, sorry. The product needs to arrive in 'new' condition with all original accessories and packaging to receive full credit; you may be charged for any missing accessories. Refunds will be issued on the credit card used for the original order for the cost of the merchandise returned. If your Vers merchandise was purchased through an outside retailer, you must return your unit to the original place of purchase. Please refer to that retailer's return policy.

Q: What is your warranty period?
A: All Vers sound systems carry a one year warranty against defects relating to materials and workmanship. If you have a technical issue, please contact us first via the support page on this site. All Vers cases and earphones carry a 6 month warranty against defects relating to materials and workmanship. All returns must be accompanied by a RA number. Authorization may be obtained by contacting via the Technical Support Form on this page.
